What Housieve stores, why it stores it, and how long it keeps it.
Your email address and a hashed password. The plain password never touches the database. Sign-in sessions live in an encrypted cookie on your own browser.
Your saved searches, saved listings and alert history. They exist so the app can match new stock against what you asked for and show what it already sent you.
Email addresses and WhatsApp numbers you attach to channels, used only to deliver the alerts you switched on. Each address is verified with a one-time code before anything is sent to it.
Property details pulled from public portals (Rightmove, Zoopla, OnTheMarket, Gumtree, Nestoria). That data belongs to the portals and the listing agents; their policies apply to it alongside this one.
Paid plans are processed by Stripe. Housieve stores the plan name and subscription status, never your card number.
Everything above is kept while your account exists and removed when the account is deleted. Backups rotate out on the hosting provider schedule after that.
